Join the League of Women Voters of Hays County on Saturday, August 8, 2:00–4:00 p.m. at the San Marcos Public Library for a free public event marking the 60th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act.
Hear from LWV Texas Voting Rights VP Joyce LeBombard, LWV Austin Area Voter Services VP Valerie DeBill on voter education, and check or update your registration on the spot. Light refreshments provided. All are welcome — no prior knowledge needed.
